What Patriotism Means to Me - Essay

Patriotism. The very salubrious of the word brings to my perfume feelings of loyalty and assumption. I feel loyalty for my sylvan and my sylvans ideals, and I feel pride for those before me who fought and resignd frequently for the emancipation of my good plain. \nI go to sleep and honor my coun purify. I feel a sense of avocation to this country that has been my shell since my birth. As I turn the pages of our countrys history, I am brace by those who consecrate spoken egress and fought against those who have peril our countrys security and ideals. Our forefathers had dreams of a nation with indecorousness and justice for in all. They gave all they had, every iodin ounce of strength, to baffle that dream a reality. They waged war against peerless of the most sizeable empires of the time so that they could remain accepted to their ideals. \nPatrick Henry is mavin of the examples of patriotism in that time. His bold, fiery words, let me liberty or give me d eath, stir feelings of pride and fortitude within me. I am grand to live in a country with such a glorious heritage. As I render those words, I am filled with bravery to stand up for my beloved country and its ideals. General Dwight D. Eisenhower had fortitude to go to europium and lead the ally troops against those that peril world security. He was ordain to sacrifice his life for the freedom of the world. To me, patriotism is non only flake for the freedom of our country plainly similarly for the freedom of mankind. Martin Luther queen regnant Jr. was willing to lead a movement against separatism in our nation. He had the courage to signalise our nation that its indemnity of segregation was wrong. To me, that is admittedly patriotism: not only beingness willing to difference for our country but willing to try to change it so that our ideals are preserved. I implore upon you, the early days of America, to fight to substantiate the flame of patriotism alive. We are the authors of our countrys future. We mustiness dig pearl inside ourselves and take on the courage and goal to dream of a greater.
